Then some colored stone (Ruby, Sapphires, Pearls, Coral, Tourmaline, Emerald etc) beads are put to hang on it. Both precious and semi precious stones beads are used in these ornaments. Diamonds beads are also used some times.

Beads are also of different varieties such as long beads and round beads. Both long and round beads are also found in plane and faceted varieties.

Similar kinds of Jewelry are produced in other metals such as copper, nickel or steel. Immitation or glass beads are used normally in these types of fashion and trendy Jewelry.

Precious or Semi-precious colored stones beads are hanged using some gold or silver metal threads. Designing of these types of necklaces are very important. It has to be designed in a way that hanging beads look attractive and match with the studded Necklace. Normally, similar colors are used in studded necklace and in the beads hanging with it.

Some special designs, I have seen, in which beads are studded. Small diamonds are placed over the beads. This way, the designer makes it unique.

A string of beads is also a necklace. Some times beads, long beads or drops are hanged to give it different look.

Jadau: The most popular form of beaded necklace:

Kundan Meena Jadau necklaces are the most popular in this category. In almost every Jadau necklace and pendent, there are beads hanging. Only India manufactures this special variety of jewelery.

This type is not only popular but has an artistic value. Moguls loved it very much.
