Peacock and other birds in Jaipur

The blue necked Indian peacock is the most beautiful bird in the world. Best quality blue sapphires are compared with the neck of peacock. Peacock is the National bird of India. Its multicolor appearance matches with multi color gem stones of Jaipur. Peacock is a theme for Jaipur Jewelry designers and Kundan Meena Jadau manufacturures. When peacock dances, it creates wonderful scene.

Jaipur zoo is famous for its peacock and other birds such as stork, love birds, pelican, ibis, swan, parrot etc.

I have also added some videos of Jaipur birds in this hub.

Hi, JYOTI KOTHARI, nice to meet you. This is a fantastic hub. Photographs excellent. Really enjoyed it . Thank you for sharing it with us.

the comment you wrote under the photo's with the parakeets are isn't right. these are no lovebirds these are just some regular parakeets. a lovebird is a small parrot. not just a parakeet.

This hub is very special to me. I love birds. I was bought up in the Australian bush surrounded by birds. I love to watch them living their family life. In the evenings they all call to their families and each other in such a way as I imagine them saying things like "Come home you little ones it's time for bed" or telling dad to drop in at the supermarket on the way home and get some more worms, and don't forget a grub for dessert! Their conversations are so animated and diverse. Thank you for warming my heart first thing in the morning!

Those are great! Thanks for sharing them. We call those ones in the top photo parakeets or budgies here in the US. There's another kind of bird we call Love Birds.
