Jaipur, the Pink city and Capital of Rajasthan is not only the city for Gemstones and Jewelry but the city of festivals and culture.
Rajasthan is culturally vibrant and colorful. Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan is also the cultural capital of India.
People of Jaipur wear uncommon dresses several times in festive mood. Some times these are customary. Some times it depicts religious faith and belief. Different ethnic and cultural groups also show their particular dresses some times.
I have collected some and posted here to enjoy. Most of the pictures are taken on the eve of Kavad Yatra to worship Lord Shiva Shankara at location Galta valley, Jaipur. Indian wedding dress and Royal dress of India are also included in this photo gallery. A photograph of Mr. Jai bahadoor Singh Shekhawat will add flavor to the photo gallery.

Thanks Anjali for your comments. Yes these are not very uncommon for Jaipurites but still not regular dresses. I have put these mainly for non-Jaipurites to enjoy and also to know Jaipur culture.

These are little uncommon, but not very uncommon in Jaipur. We see these dresses many times in Jaipur.
