Financial and economic crisis of America and top most searched words in internet

Iman morales, uss intrepid, house peters jr, palin bingo, vice presidential debate, reborn baby.com, gwen ifill wheelchair, kelly pugnea, mr. clean and reborn babies are the top 10 words searched in American Internet on second October 2008.

The search items are generally not generic. These are based on some current topic or so. Some concern with politics is seen in the search topics but nothing about finance and economics.

Internet is the most powerful tool to acquire knowledge. Search words or topics show people's interest. It is also surprising that nothing is searched about international matters. Are Americans so confined? Have they no concern with rest of the world?

It is not in the interest of Americans. According to economists remaining aloof from the world is economically suiciding attitude. America, the USA, is the pioneer of globalization. However, this very attitude `of its citizens (in this era of globalization) is surprising!

As an Indian I may not be able to understand needs of Americans and their interests. However, I can not understand how Iman Morales or USS intrepid will effect their life. Political issues like "Vice presidential debate" or "Palin bingo " , of course, have effect on one's life but what about 'rebornbabies'. They made it a concern with "Gwen Ifill wheel chair" which is a drama of the day according to "News spread it".

Mr clean,1250 am tampa, tampa bay rays radio, vp debate, britney benton,senate bailout bill, laura recovery center, bellanca, bellanca aircraft and michael pigott are the next top ten (eleventh to twentiethth ) search words in the Internet in America.

Again there is nothing about economy or financial crisis. America is undergoing a tremendous financial and economic crisis but people are not interested in economy. They are facing financial problems in their daily life.They are not searching much about finance, credits, mortgages and jobs. Not much people have concern with bail out packages. It seems that they do not bother about Government policies on economy, finance and taxation those will directly affect American citizens.

"1250 am tampa" and "tampa bay rays radio" are searched for some entertainment. Much of the people have concern with 'Bellanca' or "Bellanca aircraft" for the sole purpose of entertainment. They can. of course, justify search about "Laura recovery center", because it has a serious social concern.

Think seriously!!

How are these top search words in Internet concerned with one's life? It seems that Americans are much more interested in funny topics like Britney Benton but economy.

I shall be happy if global economic crisis would not effect you but it seems difficult. Therefore, it is advisable to read this hub and other related articles or books in order to protect your future.

Americans are in tremendous financial and economic crisis. The nation, the society and the individuals are in economic and financial problem. The Americans are looking at bail out bill of senate. People are hopeful of Presidential election near by. Presidential hopeful Mccain failed in arguing effectively about financial matters in the Presidential debate. He concentrated more on foreign policy. It looks like that people have no or little idea about what to do and what not to.

I have been writing about economic crisis and financial problems of America much before failures of financial institutes. Those have got lesser hits in hubpages. Is this lack of concern in your interest ? People are still busy with many other things than their own financial problems and their own future. Do you think Knowledge about "House peters Jr." or "Mr. clean", actors, help you in solving your financial problems and economic crisis?

I have already given a list of top twenty most searched words in America in Internet. Only few are relevant to economic and financial matters. There is only one important economic and financial topic in the list of twenty i.e. "senate bailout bill" placed at number 16 in the list. If one is not concerned with his or her own future how can one expects coming out of problems. If one shuts eyes to one’s problem and take an easy going attitude, no one can help.

I hope you are not among them. You have concerns with your own future. You are concerned about your financial problems. You want to know reasons and root causes of those problems, and of course, the solutions. It is not advisable for you to ignore these now. Otherwise it may, at any point of time, convert into a crisis.

It is better to be a little bit financially intelligent. You need it because this and only this can save you in the present situation. You may be intelligent and knowledgeable in matters other than economy and finance. That perhaps, can not save you from the present economic and financial problems. Your financial intelligence can, however, save you.
